I was wondering what had happened to IceRed. They shut down their servers on Friday and were supposed to be back on Monday morning, but whenever I checked at the address I have bookmarked, there was just an announcement saying they would be back on Monday 24 November.
Then I had an *idea*. Why not try http://www.icered.com, I thought. Yes, that seems to work fine. So the idiots have effectively switched off a URL that they had previously asked people to use, and not bothered to put any information or new address on that page. That's gonna work real well, Tim.

I cam onto this site looking for any answers as to what has happened to Icered.com - Does anyone know?

Sorry, no idea. I haven't looked at IceRed for months, so I wouldn't be too distressed if it has gone (though it serves a useful purpose in occupying trolls who might otherwise be here annoying me).

From the SCMP:
Social networking website Ba8ua.com has taken over the management of Icered.com and is planning to relaunch the online message board community in the next two weeks, according to Ba8ua's founders.
The IceRed forum has been down for two weeks as Ba8ua - which is pronounced bagua and means gossip in Cantonese - works to integrate the online property with its own service offering.
Ba8ua chief executive Jonathan Lee said the overall look and feel of IceRed would remain intact after the relaunch, but the new site would contain elements of the Ba8ua service.
